Cordless matters more than it sounds. Polishing a print means turning the piece over constantly to catch the light on every face, and a mains cable fights that.
This is sold separately rather than bundled because most people who print already own something that spins. Adding it to a kit nobody needed would have put $99 on a $79 product.
